Penn State Altoona will hold multiple events for Startup Week, March 14-29.

As part of the 2023 Penn State Startup Week powered by PNC, the Penn State Law in University Park Intellectual Property Clinic will present "A New Patent Pro Bono Program for Pennsylvania," on March 20.

Budding entrepreneurs are invited to apply to the Penn State Berks Customer Discovery Lab, a four-week series of workshops organized by the college’s Flemming Creativity, Entrepreneurship and Economic Development (CEED) Center. This opportunity is open to Penn State students, recent alumni, faculty, staff, and community members interested in exploring the commercial viability of their idea or innovation.

Penn State Startup Week powered by PNC will take place from March 20-24. The week will provide students from all campuses an opportunity to explore Penn State’s vast entrepreneurial ecosystem, learn from successful Penn State alumni, and connect with innovative peers through fun, hands-on activities.

Six Penn State student startups have been selected as finalists in Invent Penn State’s Inc.U Competition. Each team will compete for up to $30,000 in funding in a pitch competition being held during Penn State Startup Week powered by PNC.
